OT - BMW spy pics
Some photos I took on the way to work this morning (sorry no Seinfeld this time) of some future BMW's. Pictures are pretty poor quality, sorry. The M3 pics I actually got a couple weeks ago. Cars were all de-badged.
This looks like the new 1 series convertable.
Then there is what appears to be the new X6.
And the new M3

Interesting. The small cars are the new 1-series (whch is being touted at the "new" 2002 from 70's lore). A new M3 and the X6 concept by the looks of it. I too hate the Bangle designs (the 6 series is especially henious), but having owned a 1974 2002tii as my first car in high school, if the 1-series delivers excitement in the same sporting way, they will have a significant opportunity in the market. Just My O. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for the pics!
IMHO the new 1-series has the most promise of any car today to be a budget-friendly yet fast & fun track car. It doesn't sound like BWM is trying to cripple it to prevent that, so we shall see. The M3 has become a pig, and unfortunately we won't be getting the M3 lightweight or M3R here in the u.s.

Indeed! That Aztec is the most hideous thing ever produced. Uglier than the Pacer, Gremlin, and Matador! And those were gruesome things! How the Aztec got produced is beyond me. Think of it, some muckety-muck had to sign-off on the design and production of that abomination, and then, someone actually had to BUY the thing. Might as well have gone to a kennel and asked to purchase some Dog S_hit! since they have equal aesthetic value.
