Interesting. The small cars are the new 1-series (whch is being touted at the "new" 2002 from 70's lore). A new M3 and the X6 concept by the looks of it. I too hate the Bangle designs (the 6 series is especially henious), but having owned a 1974 2002tii as my first car in high school, if the 1-series delivers excitement in the same sporting way, they will have a significant opportunity in the market. Just My O. Thanks for posting.

Three Wheelin'
I was out with cgfen and I told him how much I hate the rear designs of 2-tiered rear ends. He told me thats called a bangle butt. Thanks for educating me further on this with the thread. I see others hate it as well.
I see toyota is using this design as well. I hate it even more! The prius is down right ugly, the camry is the new blue hair coupe! Did you see consumer reports will not rubber stamp their seal of approval on their cars anymore? With some key execs leaving, maybe the car company is in for trouble. It all goes back to the bangle butt!
