Fuse #19 keeps blowing
 

my brake lights dont work, number 19 keeps blowing . How do I find the short? they still worked even though my cruise control has been out for years, any ideas?

Does the fuse blow as soon as you replace it or as soon as you step on the brakes?

Check the brake light switch on the pedal and the wiring harness behind the rear lights (left, right and center) for chaffing or crushing. Ditto where it enters the engine compartment at the right rear corner of the car.
