Found the link...scroll down about 25% and the whole story, more photos, etc, is there. Look for the title "Riding Down The Marquis"

No, no, you have your facts confused. They were using a Fabspeed 'GT2' strut bar to spread the load between the halves of the forward sling when the bar failed, causing the sling to violently snap. Intense scrutiny revealed that the mounting holes of the strut bar had been elongated or ovalized.
