Have fun.. I'm getting married on Maui in about two weeks :)
At a restaurant called, Mama's Fish House. It's in a small, hippie like surf village called Paia. If you get a chance to eat there, do so. There is also a place called the fish market in town, another great place to eat.

Then I'm off to Bora Bora for my honeymoon !! I rented one of those glass bottom cottages that sits over the water..

Anyhow, I know you will have fun (you're heading there, I just got back not too long ago with the family as you know).

There should be plenty of eye candy when you're clubbing around Kuhio (watch out for some of them here, they may charge, haha), Ala Moana, or heck, anywhere (re: beach) on the island. Some local grinds (too numerous to name) I enjoy are Liliha bakery (order the puffs or breakfast), Leonard's (malasadas), and for comfort food, maybe Sidestreet Inn. As for high end restaurants, Alan Wong's is pretty good. Roy's flagship, Sam Choy's off Diamond Head, and Ruth Chris (never had a bad meal at one) or DK Steak House are decent, too.

Also, check out Lewers off Kalakaua. They've massively redone that area with new shops and eateries (figure the new Trump tower is under construction a block over).

And B-Line, Mama's Fish House is probably one of my top favorite restaurants in Maui. Good choice on that, and yeah, it is pretty eclectic there.
