I'm ordering fluid today for a fluid change in my C4S. The instructions say 3.6 quarts for the rear differential. What's involved in the front diff on the AWD cars? Do they have the same fill/drain plug setup as the rear? If so how much fluid goes in it?

Thanks much. I did mine last night using the same Swepco 201. I was missing the torque settings from the p-car article but used the 22 ft/lbs that show in your link. I'm still a little confused about the front on a C4S. The link you attached says there's fluid to replace in that diff, but I've seen other posts that imply the front unit is sealed. Right now, I've just done the rear.

The front diff has two fill & drain plugs like the trans ... takes ~1.2l or so: use whatever you put in the trans.

Thanks for the info. I'll plan to change that as well. I think I have that much Swepco left over but I'll measure first to make sure I have at least 1.2L.
