Noisy Rear Spoiler

Noisy Rear Spoiler
Hi all!
I am a long-time Porsche enthusiast, but brand-new to Porsche ownership (96 C2 coupe), and also new to Rennlist.
This question has probably been posted before (if so, sorry, and please direct me to it), but I have a concern about my noisy rear spoiler. When raising or retracting, it makes a grinding noise. It certainly still works, but something in there definitely needs attention. Any words of advice?
Thanks!

The fix is in the DIY section of <P-car.com>. Common problem and lots of threads on it here in RL- the "search" function is your friend.
Between p-car and the DIY section on RL, you're likely to find answers to most of the questions you'll initially have regarding maintenance and upgrades. Another reference site is <993faq.com>.
Also, welcome to 993 ownership and this forum. You're invited to join RL, too. It's well worth the $18/yr.

Easy fix even for a novice DIY. Mine real made a noise on the down cycle. I replaced the bearing and it is quiet as a church mouse now. Best of luck.
