All these years I thought I was helping support Mark by buying Mobil1

Bill,

The only semi-sponsor I have is Rooftop Communications, an ad agency. It's run by a friend who has a passion for the sport. He gave me money four years ago. There's no contract, no agreement, other than I told him I could make the car available for his corporate events and that I would put his company's name all over my car.

Some of the other stickers are for contingency sponsors such as FVD and CDOC. If you podium in a minimum field, you earn credits for purchases.

The rest of the stickers are to make the car look like a race car. I think race cars should look like race cars. I have picked up new business by starting conversations with people when they see the car on the [open] trailer, due, IMO, in part by the fact that the car looks the role.

My only car - so it has to serve both daily driver and track duty !

Only a PORSCHE can do this kind of double duty IMHO !

From August 2007 POC Time Trial at Laguna Seca..

Here is a great composite of my car taken at an RS challenge day last year, nicely done by a helpful customer.

The car definitely likes showing off, can you see it waving its wheel for the camera?

Sure it counts! And if you are really bitten by the bug, your garage will end up looking like a mini-race tire depot:

Mark- Your car is looking good! Are you going to make it to RRR with Chin in November?
