Potentially interested in selling my Black 95' 993...
...based on potentially buying another 95' 993
Here's some details:
I will sell my black & tan 95' 993 for $23,500 - 106K miles. Comes with the original 16" wheels/tires though. Will let it go with 18" Porsche twists & Pirelli P-0 Assymetricos for 24,500. Alternatively, will let it go for $22,750 with the original seats and the 16" wheel/tires. Only 4 options:
roof
cruise (inop)
radio
a/c. Car is in VA/DC area.
Typical paint chips in the nose, one or two small dings in the body panels - needs front bumper skin respray:
1 small door ding on the pax side
1 small dent just above the drivers door handle
Original 16" wheels & tires are on the noisy side
Interior very good-to-excellent for the miles - seats are original 4-ways and are PERFECT, since I just replaced them with a perfect used set from LAPD
Blaupunkt Honolulu radio/cd sucks in my estimation
Sunroof and power windows work fine
Brakes & rotors are fairly fresh looking
Original exhaust tips were polished - look great
tranny feels and shifts great - sometimes the clutch pedal feels a little ratchety
I just put new bushings in the shifter linkage - feels brand new
New visor 'clips'
Needs: sunroof felt, shocks & struts, plug wires (they appear to be original)
ISV has been recently cleaned (was not dirty though)
Just replaced the drivers side window switch - works perfect
New spoiler wall - spoiler bearing mod done (quiet - nice!)
Fresh Mobile One 0w-40w & filters.
New rear deck shocks, fronts are fine
No mods to engine or anywhere, except: new rubber bushings on all the timing chain cover bolts except for the ones covered by the distributor. I have replaced all but 3 spark plugs - for now.
Glass is all original SEKURIT except the windshield which has been recently replaced by the PO with tinted SIGLA glass. Side windows are still tinted lightly since this was a Florida car.
Stock headlights suck in my estimation.
Doors close properly - no weird closing issues that signal body damage on any 911. Body seams and panels are perfect.
A/c is cold.
I will work with you to have it PPI'd locally on your dime - it has already been PPi'd by local dealer and ASG has looked at it in the last week or so.
I have one brand new lighted key + two brand new 911-style black spare keys.
This car did not come with an alarm - bonus.
Has all manuals + radio removal tool, locking lug nut bolt, original spare, air pump & tools. Felt under the hood looks like new.
New battery
Has all the little rubber drain plugs in the spare wheel well
No engine tray
No steering rack leaks
When you put on the brakes - the car stops in a razor sharp straight line.
This car flys, gets 20 mpg+.
This car was purchased new by a Doctor in Miami according to the owners manual. It changed hands a couple times (dealers) - now I have it. It is an unadulterated, original car. It DOES NOT have records though. I have driven it daily now for almost 4 months and it has no issues other than shocks, struts, etc.
PM me if interested

good luck with the sale Marlon, there was a guy that showed up to one of our Wednesday night meets out here who was looking for a 993 in this price range. Hopefully he sees this.

I found a local guards red on black 60K mile beauty - I'm going to go for it tomorrow. If my wife does not want to make the black one her 'commuter car' it goes out the door via ebay if it does not move erstwhile. The black one is nice though - but I like the red better.

I will keep it in mind but the 18's handle wery nice on the street with the p-0's. Stunning actually. Probably one of the best unsung performance enhancements going. So I will keep them for now since I would rather not have to buy them again. I actually just bought a new 'used' single 18X10" rear for 90 bucks on ebay, so they are very affordable. Some folks are asking highway robbery prices for them - so beware. The red car comes with 17" cups and I actually just bought a set of 4 cup wheels for the black car!!! I am wheeled out.
