A quick and dumb question about RS heater tubes...
When you remove the factory blower fan and all the other plastic ducting, there is a small vacuum line left detached. Should this line be plugged or left as-is?

It's this line -- I pulled it out and it's resting against the tube. I plugged it with a short black screw, but am wondering if it should be left open.

I'm assuming this is because your car is a '95 and mine is a '96?
It goes back to a 4-way intersection of small vacuum lines, and each line goes off in a different direction to various parts of the varioram system. I could trace them but it would take a while.

Noah's photo shows the plugged vacuum just resting against the heater fan bypass pipe. It is the line to the vacuum operator for the reverse activated damper in the fan duct (suppose to keep exhaust out of the heating system when backing up).
The line should be plugged.

The line should be plugged.
