FWIW, I don't even notice the fact that they are visible below the bumper anymore. Partly because they've been there for 4 years and partly because they are no longer shiny.

I don't care so much that they're visible -- I just hope that scraping them on sidewalks and pavement isn't going to become a regular occurrence.

I've only scraped once that I can remember, and I'm slightly lower than Euro height.

There's really only one issue: do they HAVE to fit that way/be that low? And if there's room to package them another way as Noah implied with his original post, why haven't they changed the design?

Do you get a constant "check engine" light with these? I'll be moving to a non-emmisions county in the future so I may look at this.

I claim to be neither right nor wrong.

I just remember awhile back reading a very lengthy thread about where Fabspeed products are made. In that thread, emails and pictures from that manufacturer was posted by a RL member who was communicating with them in that regard.

Just can't find that thread anymore.

Let's face it, a lot of stuff is made in China and Taiwan - it does not mean that it will be crappy quality. I could say the asame thing about US cars and TVs! I'll get my coat...

That must have been a whopper of a transition. Mine have never scraped anything
