Day-um! Nice!

What paint did you use on your rims? I just picked up a set of the '02 lightweights, my car is black, and I'm having serious thoughts of painting them the same color as the body...

Awesome! Where did you get the big ovals? Kinda makes me sad that I might actually sell my 993 now (Business opportunity need moolah).

I'm thinking of going dark gun metal like the optional wheels on the new vantages'
The gloss black is nice, but i find i like the 'flatter' look like when there is a light coat of brake dust, so maybe a flat black finish.

We'll see. my mind changes daily :P

They came with the car.

I cant believe after all that headache of troubleshooting you might have to sell it..

Believe me, I know it. I love the car! It is so much better and more fun than my 996's were but Im just not sure if I can keep it. I am looking into all options before I sell it. If I do sell it someone will get a car that wont need any maintenance parts for a long time!!

Thats exactly my problem. The wheels need a fresh coat of some color, be it silver or black, and one day I like one color but the next I like the other......

What is the actual finish of your wheels? Is it a gloss painted black or powercoating or...???

also, I noticed you're missing the basket handle for having a 95. Did you remove it or was it like that when you purchased it? I REALLY like the car without it more and more. If you removed it, what kind of cost was involved?

It's gloss black, and i mean they are REALLY nice.. but i seem to like the 'dirty' flattened look more than the gloss look..

It's a very late model '95 - which shipped without the basket handle.. I believe the build date is 3/95 or 4/95 cant recall exactly. I know a few guys have had the basket handle removed and the holes filled.. you could get it done for <500 with paint i'm sure.

I've been toying with the idea of all black wheels for mine. The black cars just look "meaner" that way and I like it. If you've seen pics of CP's Ruf (see the who has the best looking 993 thread) you can see how great the Ruf wheels look all blacked out. Nice pics!

Great pics Rob. Have you thought about going with black chrome like Guy's or gray like Chirs Walrod's?

If the CIA, FBI, DEA, or Secret Service were going to drive 993's...they would ALL look like Rob's car. That is just badass!!!!
