I'm not part of this buy, but why is anyone on this Board obligated to give him the measurments?
Obviously he bootlegged the 996 pedal outlines from some where without any thought of the 993.
IMHO he is obligated to fix the problem himself. Let him shell out the $100 or so for a legitimate 993 Dead pedal for his template. He is the only one who will gain in the long run.

Default Maxspeed update

Okay guys... I've been communicating back and forth with Nello at Maxspeed. I think everyone has really made far too much out of this, for what I believe was an honest mistake. He's been extremely responsive and eager to make this work out for us. Let's cut the guy some slack. He's a guy trying to make a go at a business; Everyone should just calm down a bit and let him make this right, before we start bashing him. Remember the quote from our favorite Porsche movie... "in a sluggish economy, never f*&k with a man's livelihood".

I got him some measurements and he was able to find a 993 nearby and has the design ready to go. He'll have the first replacement pedal ready in about 2 weeks.

Thanks for the post NinjaB.
He emailed me as well and told me that he should have replacements in 2 weeks or so.
He is doing the right thing and responding to our issues. Not too many companies out there doing that without being dragged into it kicking and screaming.

I agree that Maxspeed is doing the right thing and I look forward to my replacement pedal. I appreciate everyone's effort - we all knew there might be an issue when we ordered the pedals and Maxspeed is being more than fair.

thanks !!!
