Ever wanted to track down your previous porsche ? I had a nice 96/97 midnight blue C4S with tan interior (i should of kept the sport seats) purchased from NWI in portland and sold back to them. I beleive the car resides in Riverside CA now and it would be good to check out how its doin.

some have... always enjoy the 356 guys talkin about buying their former cars back (more recently) for the price of a small house.... still would be a nice reunion, if it was a car from youth. great time capsule hopefully.

if you like maybe a local lister can hop over there & snap some shots for ya?

Was that about 4yrs ago? I remember seeing it listed in NWI and I was going to have my buddy check it out for me but they had sold it. They said that the owner was from CA. That must of been you!

I bought a midnight blue 96 C4S with sport seats from NWI in December 2005 with 79k miles. It is nearing 100k miles now, and still being very much loved. Sounds like the car. Glad to learn that other owners may have been Rennlisters. Small world.

We'll definitely have to meet some time, I've never been in the Turbo. What are your impressions of the differences between the two cars?

I bought this car from NWI with some trepidation, the only feedback I got about them was negative. But I was looking for a Midnight Blue 993 coupe, preferably C4S. After I flew up and saw the car, it had obviously been cared for. The drive back down from Portland was joyous, it has been a wonderful car since. I changed the color of the interior blue trim pieces to black, and LPMMed the mufflers, other than that still stock.

What can you tell me about this car's history?
Any funny stories?
What color is your Turbo?

I'd be willing to consider a straight swap for the Turbo on sentimental grounds!

I sold my SC via the internet and occasionally send an email to the current owner, and he asks about my 993. It is really kind of cool really keeping tabs on a previous car. There are very few makes that owners are truly emotional about, Porsche is certainly one, Ferrari another.
