fwiw: a few weekends ago steve said he didn't go on a 'tour' b/c he heard the frnt lic. plate thing & got news that no one was popped for it & then wished he went for the drive.
this will just be a lil' cruise thru the twisties early in the mornin' b4 any crowds... that's all. everyone drives @ their own pace... as aways no pressure, just pleasure let a car go by if need be. no worries.
will keep all posted if the locale/route changes.
ps: those who have srs radios/walkie-talkies bring 'em as they are a help keeping the group together, etc.

I am working on a bracket that is modeled after the inventivaconcepts bracket, but only attaches at the top. I bought enough aluminum for 5 brackets. I would be glad to provide the remaining 4 to anyone that wants one.
basically, it is a piece of angled aluminum that will attach to the underside of the front spoiler opening, below the factory location. The plate will attach with sheet metal screws or nut and bolt. I painted mine black so I could leave it on the car and not have it noticable. I also bent my plate so it curves back under the car.
I will post pictures when I get it complete and mounted on the car.
I am hoping that it is form fitting enough that I can also get my Colgan Bra over it.
RE: Wives and GFs, Halter tops are mandatory!
On weekends, my wife doens't get out of bed before 10, so there isn't any chance mine will be there. I expect to get back and make breakfast before she even knows I have left!

I really dont want the guy to lose his car...just shed some light on what many find a property rights infringement.
Now I understand why people would prefer my RSR than the LPMM Mod.... :P

Who's gonna be there that has LPMM's? After listening to sound clips, I gotta hear one live.
I'll be there in AM, but aborting to meet a buddy (also '86 3.2) in the valley, then onto VCR
btw, meeting at Gladstone's parking lot---don't you have to pay to get into the lot? I've surfed there (Sunset), and seems there's a parking lot attendant early--correct me if wrong.

I live off Mullholland about 2 miles from VCR. Can you guys give me the route? I wont be able to make it to Gladstones that early, but I would love to bring a digital recorder and a pair of mics out to get side by side sound clips of the various muffler mods. Maybe around 9am? I could set up in a spot where you have to stop anyway. Maybe pulling out from Old Topanga on to Mullholland if you are going that way. I can get good acceleration clips and write down the order of the cars, Then Ill come down to the VCR and get idle recordings in the same order. Then Ill get the info on the mods so i can make complete comparison files.
Ill pop it in to ProTools and edit it all together.
And I'll bring me and my 1.75 LPMMs too

The last time I was there I did not get charged but I was there before 7. I have a friend who lives in one of the canyons and he is constantly chasing the cops off his private driveway because they hide there. He is a BMW guy so he is against the crackdown, especially when they gave him a ticket for no front tag.
He said that the bicyclists are riding in the middle of the road and are a true danger.
I will see you guys on Sunday.
