Does anyone have info on replacing the hinge for the sunroof wind deflector for a 1995 993 coupe? Is it a DIY job or is it off to the shop? Thanks!

the front piece of the hinge (with the loop) snapped so now it won't close on the left side

I apologize for the bump.

I'm going to be replacing my passenger side hinge because it also snapped.

very easy job to do.. just a couple screws and some of the tape stuff (mine is loose, but have some of the Wurth carpet glue ill use on it)

My deflector was also rusting.. so I refinished it by removing the rust, prime and paint.
