This is a drag. Make sure you get your own independent estimates from shops that you are confident will "make it right." Then you will have something concrete to counter with when they give you the Earl Scheib estimate.

The issue of diminished value is real and costly. It will impact your resale due to the flag on carfax. Do not give up on it.

hi.. pcar964 sorry about your mishap I had a similar accident happened to me only lightly thought my insurance carrier was also progressive they told me to go after the person who hit me and I did. Their insurance was Geico and they paid me for the bumber,tail lights, brackets, all together 3600.00 for total job....good luck in your claim....
