I know. I have driven all of my other 911's at least 600 miles from the purchase spot but 2,300 or whatever it is. That is a tad bit much. Damn it would be fun though if I didn't have a job.

Wow, I bought my 59K mi, silver 96 C4S 5 years ago for $40500 ... and they're still worth, $40K or so? Man, my car barely depreciated. It's got 78k mi or so now on it, so it's nice to know it didn't lose 50% or more of it's value like our other used cars we bought did.
A used 993 is the way to go. By the way, I bought my car sight unseen, but a Rennlister looked at it for me, took tons of pics and even drove it for me before I flew to Chicago to buy it. It can be done without seeing it at all.
