Default For trade: Gauges with factory cashmere leather surrounds

My 97 Carrera 2 cab has the factory option for cashmere leather gauge surrounds; I prefer the more understated black look. These are beautifully finished, with the leather actually inside the glass of the gauge, which looks very nice at night. It's a fairly pricey option, as I recall. If you want to add a little contrast to your dash without resorting to the stick-on surrounds, this might be for you.

The gauges are in excellent condition, minus one idiot light bulb in the oil pressure gauge which is not working.

I will swap these gauges with a Rennlister even up if you would be willing to first send your speedo to North Hollywood Speedometer (or the equivalent) to have the mileage set to the correct mileage on my speedo at your expense. When you get it back, ship me your full set of gauges and I will immediately ship you the set of cashmere ones.

I can have these converted to the conventional surrounds for about $200, but I think it's a shame to waste them if someone is interested in the look. They are pretty cool, but I'm a little more old-school when it comes to the interior of my car.

I can provide a link to my Ebay feeback which is 100 percent positive for 101 transactions :-)

A few photos for your viewing pleasure.

Vic,

Those are a bit loud, but I think they look cool. Maybe it's just that they're different, but they do work with your wood shifter and e-brake.

This is true ... seeing them in the photos, I'm starting to like them again ;-)

But I'd still trade 'em.

Always nice to have a little something different and it was a rare option. Just my opinion

I think it would look great if you compliment the leather guages with a matching leather dash- top and bottom. I say keep them for the rarity.

How many miles do you need on the odo? Mine has around 3k showing. Black faces with black rings.
