Anyone have experience with the R-9004 vs. R-9001 clips for harnesses?

I have the 9001, but with the new seats the top sort of hits it when I get access to the back seats. BUT, I'm wondering if the shorter ones would be too short for some reason.

Thoughts?

I have the longer ones and they work fine.

I am using the shorter ones with fixed back seats.
