Default I think the 997 GT3 is beautiful. Is it just me?

Hi,

I must say that the 996s and 997s had done nothing for me in the looks department. But today I saw a silver 997GT3 on the freeway, and it is an absolute moving work of art. I studied it from the back, the side, and the front, and loved all the views. I saw them sitting still in the showrooms, liked them but was not immensely impressed. Somehow this car going down the road just took my breath away. I thought with my 993 Ruf BTR I would not have roving eyes again. I am frankly quite surprised.

Does anyone else find the 997 GT3 a stunning looker?

CP

Absolutely. The CEO of my company just got one recently and it's stunning to look at. Becareful not to take one out for a drive, it may cause all sorts of confusion and turmoil.

My car goes for a PPI tomorrow for the buyer. I'll tell you, it's not easy letting it go...

I just learned that the GT3 has 23.8 gallon tanks, and the 997s have 16.9 gallon tanks.

Just that alone is well worth considering getting one, used of course. May be in 2017.

Love it... just no rear seats, and the fact it's a full-series production model (cue the horrendous depreciation and future oversupply) otherwise I'd be trying to stop myself writing a cheque right now...
