The purple car you are referring to is an import and in my opinion very average. Mark the seller is quite negotiable. From memory he paid less than 80k for it. The 6spd you are looking at is NZ new and will always have higher resale for the reasons 9Eleven has mentioned and the fact it is a NZ car.

The best 993 C2 sold recently was to a member of this site. Manual, low km and excellent condition for circa 95-100k. The best C2 sold last week to a guy I know - low km silver 1997 VERY clean. 90k.
