So VB, if I ever do the Kevin conversion, what will it take to get you to Nashville to install all of it for me? I've got an extra room, cold beer, cuban cigars, and big filets with one hell of a grill!!! :biggulp:

Not sure if you do roadtrips, but you never know unless you ask.

Huge thumbs up on a STAND UP GUY....Mr. Bob Brooks

Robert....what is a "Kevin conversion"?

Thanks all. It is a pleaseure to deal with SOOOO many great guys and gals around the world...

Robert - I have done Road Trips in the past. Big things though are happening here in Tampa that are going to need my attention for quite a while... Sorry. I do love Steak, Cubans and cold BEEEERRRR though. Very tempting.

Dave,
Go to the 993TT board and read the admin posts at the very top of the page. Two of the three posts are by Kevin who I think all would agree is one of the well respected resident experts on Turbo mods for the 993TT.

He offers a Stage 1, 2, and 3 kit that all take the HP from a stock 400 to anywhere in the 440-600 range. I am speaking in generalities, as to get the max power you are also changing much more than turbos, ceramic coating, zero clearance, etc... You also get into 100 cell cats, bypasses and things of that nature.

Kevin is an expert and someone who works on these cars as a trade. His real value, aside from all the time he puts in here to answer all of our questions, is that he knows how to get the most out of the 993TT by using the right combination of turbo technolgy, software and other various exhaust, intake, and other parts in harmony.

Do a search under his name for his posts and you'll quickly realize he is someone you want an opinion from if you're going to modify your 993TT.

Cheers!

Robert

Bob,
No hurry! I just paid off the M5 (Paid cash for the TT awhile back), and I will be funding three kids' Section 529 education accounts before any turbo toys. That could still happen pretty quickly, however. ANyway, I will bribe you one way or another when the time comes!

Count me in. VB is a fantastic guy and spent a ton of time helping me pick my suspension upgrade. He has earned my business for years to come.
