armand,
PM "Manny Alban", PCA's esteemed club secretary (he looks hot in high heels) or "Todd B". Both have the OG cage.
IMO, a better way to go is to drop your car off to Mitch Piper at www.pipermotorsports.com. They'll be doing my cage in a month and charge about $3,000 for it.

Just a bit of curiosity abut full cages... how do they weld the seams next to the roof? Isn't that required by most sanctioning bodies? Can they weld those pieces before installing?

If you're talking about the gussets along the A-pillar, B-pillar and roof, NASA and PCA don't require it. I hear having the cage welded there makes it easier to skin on a new roof in case of a roll-over.

Mark,
Not the gussets... the main hoop where it has to bend to follow the roof along the windshield top and side-window top. Normally, those are made from tubing that has to be welded at the joints. Those joints are virturally impossible to get to with the cage in place (unless the roof is removed). A clever design would have those pre-welded before they get installed, but that can also be tricky. Just curious what folks are doing these days.

Think about a Heigo. Avail in steel or alu and is a DIY project. Mine was easily removed and undoubtedly easily installed when you see how it is built.
FIA approved. Much cheaper plus the side bars are removeable if you need to use the car on the street.

Jean-Pierre,
Thanks for the link! Unfortunately, it's my understanding that the Heigo cage is not legal for PCA racing and is probably not legal for the more-stringent NASA rules, which require two door bars and multiple cross braces to the rear arms, IIRC.
