Black shifter boot wanted
Does anyone have one of these floating around? Or in the alternative, what is the best way to dye a boot from cashmere to black.
Thanks

I just did this. Go to your local shoe repair shop and buy some good quality leather dye and a bottle of "Leather prep and deglazer". It should cost about $12-15 and take you about 10 minutes. Don't forget to pop out the shift pattern indicator (it just pulls straight up) and make sure to use some saddle soap or some other type of leather conditioner when you are done so your right hand doesn't turn black on the next hot sweaty day!

I actually just purchased a black 997 boot and shifter. I just do not think the boot will fit in my car easily. I guess I will have to try and wrestle it in first or make the drive to Tampa and see ViperBob .
So the only thing I have to dye, if at all, is the boot it self. Does the whole thing come out easily?
