Talking Video of my 993

Video I took a month ago of my 'new to me' car.

Was the day I got it, still snow on the roads.

Happy days.

I personally think for a standard exhaust it has a decent hackle.

Cheers

The link you provided is definately a rennlisters exhaust with the ?LPMM modification.

My exhaust (I thought) is standard, but sounds pretty meaty. Better than you can hear in my video.

Gotta love these cars...

Cheers

Love the 993 exhaust with the RSR's ... also Love the GT3 exhaust 'in the range'.

I'm not clear on wether you know what kind of exhaust you have. It doesn't sound like the standard OE exhaust to me. Maybe you have the Motorsound package?

If you want to add a little umph to the sound and give your *** a more aggressive look, change the tips to wide ovals. I bought the replicas from eBay during the GB and they look great. Around $55 for the set.

You're right, I have no idea what exhaust I have.
How can I check if its the motorsports package. Will it be listed as one of the option codes under the hood?
It is possible, as the car was originally specc'd with LSD and a short shift box as well.

Thanks!

Phil

It would be on option list although I don't know what the code is. I'm not sure if there is a physical difference in the mufflers but if you lift the engine lid and you see a chrome lining around the airbox pipe(?), you probably have Motorsound.

there is a difference in both the airbox (holes and silver colored ring) AND the mufflers.

however, I have the entire OEM package, and my exhaust doesnt sound that good....

It might very well be RSRs. They sure sound like them.

trickydisco: THAT is Lee's car with his LPMMs. I think it may have been 2" pipe and may have done a cat bypass as well. Send him a PM or do a search on his threads.
