Default My 993 at VIR

I spent some time this winter polishing up my track car; its a 1995 993 that I use exclusively at DE events. It came to me with a good finish, but it needed a bit more attention.
Keep in mind it is a track car; I was not going for concours.
Picture is by a pro photographer at the track (F&S Enterprises); I of course had to skinny down the pic for this post; the original is something like 4MB.
I hear that a shiny car is faster; is that true?

Rick,
It looks great and that coat of wax will reduce the coefficiant of friction making it faster!

Rick ... yes, it's true. Shiny cars are definitely much, much faster. Looks good.

Why thank you; maybe we can ride together at an upcoming DE.
What do you have planned? Will you be using the Tip or the Miata?

The Miata is still a work in progress. My much better half decided that the new hardwood floors were a more of a priority than the Miata suspension. Sheesh. Go figure. I put a set of SO3s on the Miata and I can feel there is potential here. We are having some wrought iron work done as well - maybe the blacksmith could set me up with a set of wrought iron coil overs.

Looks good, Rick! Too bad F&S likes to use fast shutter speeds; the better photographers are using slower speeds and panning with the car to blur the wheels. What's your next event? I think my next DE will be with Potomac at WG.
