Hi, guys,

Just bought one of the first batch 1994 993s last week. Its last and only owner is the Chairman of a pharmaceutical company who rarely drove the car and put only 33,000 miles on it in 13 years. So everything on the car is still neat and tight.

After I tested the car last month, I noted its chassis number and license plate number and called our local (Taiwan) Porsche to check their service records on it. Findings follow:

* The last service was performed in winter, 2005, at 30,000 miles.

* The car has never been in any accident--never been fixed of its body, never been fixed of its bottom or anything.

I would be very grateful if any of you would teach me what things to do on this newly bought 993.

First thing to do is to post photos of it!

Enjoy the car and welcome to rennlist.

Thanks a lot for the reminder, Jeff. I do have its photo and will learn how to post it here.

Drive it??

Congratulations! Sounds like a really low mileage example. Did you take it to a mechanic to have it checked out?

Cheers,

Mike

Thanks a lot, Mike. I just paid the dealer and have to wait a few days for the new license plate. Before that, I cannot legally drive the car on the road. I will surely pay our local Porsche a visit, first thing upon receipt of the license plate.
