Yesterday we had our first PCA-CWR AutoX for the season. It turned out to be a gorgeous sunny but windy day. The course designed by master designer Rennlister Rich was quite simple but a lot of fun which gave the newbies time to get their feet wet in the sea of cones. We did a ton of runs which was fantastic and the CWR executive was serving freshly cooked on the portable bbq's tasty burgers for lunch!
Kudos to all for organizing such a great event!!!

This was the first AutoX up here where the 993 brotherhood came out strong. I think there were 6 993's present all looking gorgeous with their proud owners giving them a nice workout. Hopefully on our next event ( April 21) some other 993 Rennlisters will come out and play!

It was great for us NW guys to get out of hibernation and let the cars stretch their legs out. Yesterday was one of maybe four sunny days we've had since the beginning of the year so the timing was perfect. The drive home with the top down was a treat! After months without any events, AX was like heroine to a junkie for us Vancouverites and we can now afford to be patient till the next AX in April.

What a great day! Nice to put some faces to the names. This was my first auto-x and what a hoot. Thanks Danny, I enjoyed the ride. Too bad about the one cone on a fast run. Hope to see more of you at future events.

Danny...point taken. The early morning rain here was nothing and I should of come up. Looks like I missed a great event and good food. Next time! How did you do?

Randy...I was thinking of you, we were split in 2 groups, the 911's in one and the rest on the other. Our group run started at 11.00am... You could have made it with plenty of time to spare...
To your question, officially I came 5th, my best run would have placed me 3rd overall if I did not clip a damn cone. It was fun and you have zero excuses for the next one

It was the terror of the 993 cabs yesterday . It was great the bar-b-que was
tasty and the day was fun . Yes lots nice folks and sunny day . Danny you were in fine form with your driving and Louis you really are a competitor and did some good runs . Tim nice to of met you and hopefully will see you at other auto-x . Randy too bad you did not make it but we will you see April 14th
