Default And now for something completely different........

So while life is in utter limbo waiting for my wife to give birth (one day she's in the hospital, 2 days later she's not ) I have been polishing the car and a few other things. One is, I decided to clean up the calipers. First I would say that I am not real happy with the Duplicolor caliper kit. Having done 2 so far, I would much prefer to spray it on.....this brush thing is for the birds and does show brush strokes.
I have a friend that works at a sign company, and had him make me some vinyl decals. He made sticker style and die-cut individual #'s. I decided to go the sticker route, its easier to apply and looks better. This is the ds rear.

I just did my also.
The brush strokes are for the birds.
Two words....CLEAR COAT!
Lots of clear coat helps cover up some of the brush strokes.

Will the decals be able to take the heat?

its a cheap kit, so I shouldn't have expected much. Once it all cures it doesn't look to bad, but its not perfect so.....

Best thing to do is powder coat, but it involves taking the calipers apart.

I have done two track events and show no signs of excessive heat on the paint or the vinyl decals. I didn't clear coat mine.

I guess time will tell!
