Default Grinding sound from seat lumbar support servo.

The lumbar adjustment works but makes a loud grinding noise. All others are quiet. How involved is a servo repair or replacement? Is it on it's way out. Reasonable DIY?

I have purchased the original leather seat covers for my seats and went to see a repair shop.
You cannot imagine the work involved in uncovering a seat and back, not to mention the dollars.
The new leather parts have cables, so that the leather could be tightened on the seat. etc.

My lumbar supports on both seats always sounded like grinding coffee.
But then again, I neglect it since I seldom use this adjustment if ever.

Thanks for the info.

Benign neglect... I think that may be the way to go. Until I'm really bored and looking for trouble.
