95 993 Blinker Relay
Can anyone tell me where the stinking thing is? It's not in either the trunk or engine fuse box. I think it's why I have two blinkers not blinking.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Are you sure you don't just have a tail light out? When that happens, the turn signals go haywire. That's Porsche's not-so-obvious way of telling us we have a light out.

I have a problem where the turn signals operate fine, but the blinkers... only the left side blinks. In order to make both sides blink I have to put the turn signal stalk to the "right turn" position.
Could this be the relay? Or something else? It's a weird problem.

Thanks guys. Since you're listening, get this... bought the 95 a few weeks ago. blinkers blinking fast like bulbs are out, so I think that the rearmost bulb on both the left and right side is out. Now keep in mind that all four other blinkers work, and the brake lights also work. Checked bulbs, fuses, and continuity through the assemblies and all the way back to where the tail harness sticks into the box on the right side of the engine.
When I checked the pins there, it looks like I get 12+volts of juice for the side blinkers when they go on, but like 0.1 volts for each of the rear blinkers.
Since I'm about to tear a chunk of my hair out over this, guess I'll replace the relay and see what happens. I did figure out that if I just go a lot faster than everyone else, you don't really need those blinkers.

1. Hazard light switch looked good, so no dice. back to the drawing board.
2. You guys get funnier all the time.
3. Does ATE make a blue blinker fluid so I can see when I've bled off the old stuff?

I have a similar problem on my 95. The rear right doesn't work, all others do. I tried replacing the bulb, socket and fuse, still nothing. Anyone has an idea? Thanks.
