Rob,

I'm very excited for you... good luck and looking forward to your progress. BTW, what type of garage floor treatment did you do?

Tony, the floor was done in a 2-step epoxy. Its actually over 1/4" thick with vinyl chips mixed in. Had it done by a local company : http://www.garagedesignworks.com/

Been there - done that. Lots of 3M adhesive remover. Should have worn a mask though.

I barely put any glue back down for the RS carpet kit...

How much did you pay for the RS carpet set?

Thank you

I would suspect that in about 5 weeks this should be cosmetically finished, if not sooner. It depends on how fast parts arrive that were ordered.

The inspiration for this project is the picture below. The car should look exactly like this one very soon, minus the cheesy windshield lettering (IMHO) and the fog light brake ducts--Im going with the brake ducts alone (without fog lights) that will be completely functional.
Any time you want to breed your new car, my car is ready! I get 1st pick of the litter

Great project...it will be fun to watch this. I've always liked this tail but have managed to have someone walk me out of it every time I really get tempted to put it on my C2S. I'm not sure how it would look on a wide body.

Thats a tough call Rick. A RSCS tail on a widebody may look odd, or it just may the "mental barrier" that it isn't supposed to be on the car...?
