OT: Sad day in Boulder
I posted this on the 996 board but it is more of an overall message for all owners. This is a sad day in Boulder and one of our Porsche owners was killed last evening. Please be careful when meeting with unknown 'potential buyers'.
Sergio was a very nice man that I had met a couple of times and we had spoken about the enjoyment of our cars. I was very sad to hear of his horrible death this morning. I just goes to show there are some very screwed up people in this world. Click to read more |
My god. Is there a death penalty in Colorado?
|
That's horrible. May those swine get what they are due.

Wow, this is truly sad...

Unbelieveable..so very sad...may he RIP...
|
Very sad indeed, I hope BPD will catch the suspects.
|
Just terrible. I may have to start carrying my Glock when I sell a car.
|
Not any details on what actually happened. Wonder why they shot him--he resisted maybe? If I'm selling a car and you want to steal it, be my guest! I can sell it to you or sell it to the ins co.

On second thought.....

That's awful to hear

I don't know the man but this was really sad what happened
|
You know there are all kinds of people out there. I have the pleasure of selling cars through a friends showroom. It takes all kinds all the guy wanted to do was sell his car.

A friend of miine lives in the neighborhood where it happened and the girlfriend that was with Sergio ran over to their house when it happened. It didnt sound like there was any struggle.
Please be very careful when meeting people later in the evening should you be selling your car. |
I've heard of slimeballs jumping female real estate agents who are showing them a house for sale but this is the first I've heard of car thieves as potential buyers becoming murderes. Why didn't they just steal the friggin' car and let him live?
|
Really really sad. You have to be really careful advertising/selling things where you have to deal with John Q Public. Hopefully the Boulder Police Dept will solve this and NOT have the case go to Mary Lacey.
