MEETING PLACE: Starbucks - Milestone Shopping Center - Germantown
TIME: 10am - 11:15am
WHY: You don't get many of these days in winter...
This Sunday would be a GREAT time for al of us to get together... We will meet in the parking lot at Milestone Shopping Center by Borders Books and Starbucks... We will chat, exchange stories the head off for a spirited drive through upper Montgomery Co. & lower Frederick Co. ending at the beautiful Whiskey Creek Golf Course in Ijamsville... The drive should last about 1.5 hrs or less for some arriving at Whiskey Creek between 12:30 and 1:00!!! If you've never been to Whiskey Creek you're in for a treat as the view is one of the best...
I've scoped out what will be a very challenging course to Whiskey Creek with lots of open roads with lots of twisties!!!

My car is on the road all winter...but I am in the warmth of San Antonio on the 17...sorry cant make it. Bur Trinitony or whatever he calls himself these days is just around the corner so I an sure he will be there...well if he gets his wheels back on that is!!! :-) Just teasin ya Tony.....

I'd love to but am unfortunately booked already. I've even turned down a round of golf already this week, and now a P-car meet ending at a golf course! Hmmm... what's next.

Gina & I drove the route again today... It's going to be a REAL nice drive... There's a few challenging roads... Looking forward to seeing everyone...

Appears we're going to have a good turnout on a GREAT day... I drove the route again today and it should be a lot of fun... Weather - SUNNY & 64... Good friends; Good weather; Cruise in a Porsche!!! Life is good... See you tomorrow!

Whoops - just happened to notice this out of the blue. Didn't know it was upcoming or I would have planned to be there. Have tons of family stuff to do tomorrow instead.

The meeting today was a great success..... 27+ porsches:
997, 996, 993 (1 carrera, 2 carrera 4's and 1 carrera 4s), caymans, 944, 928s other 911s and 2 minis

for organizing what can only be called The Nurburgring of Maryland !!!!
This was really great fun!! It was nice to meet everyone. Irina and I had a blast and it was great sliding all 4 tires around the turns!!! Only regret was not meeting everyone, ....but there's always next time.....maybe a 993 Carrera 4 meet in the winter????!

So that explains all the P-Cars I saw at the end of the parking lot. Was grocery getting with the wife in her 968 and passed somebody on their way in. Wife's not a meet type person otherwise I would have turned around.
