Oh, SNAP!

That blows...
...reminds me of when my mom backed into my C2. I ended up getting a nice euro TT front bumper out of it so it can't be all bad.

Let us know how your ins. co. takes it.

When the car hits gravel in the apex of a turn and gravity takes over, I don't think hitting the gas is going to help.

I apprecicate the spirit of your post, it may apply to avoiding tire walls at VIR, I don't think it is relevant to Andy's back roads situation. Or perhaps you were responding to the OTE at VIR???

Andy, you will love how your car looks when you get it back. The euro tt front bumper (same price as the ROW narrow body front bumper) and the S-scoops and euro lenses is a nice "while you're in there" upgrade if you like that kind of thing.

Whitman's Auto Body in Santa Rosa. Down the street from S Car Go. Great shop. They fixed the not 100% par that the place I had the work done didn't do right (before I knew Whitman's existed). Ask for Craig.

Andy: best of luck. If the right shop does the work, you'll be grateful for the mishap. A friend of mine crashed his Turbo and suffered over C$60k in damage. After eight months in the shop, the car looks and feels like it just came out of the showroom and got to do the euro bumper upgrade. Good luck.

Sh*t happened and it sucks, for sure.
Even it was a hairpin, i'm not going with the 20mph ... just the weight should stop the car from sliding to much at that speed ...

Not even after 7 years ...
