i'm pretty happy now
wifey and i just bought a "new" house yesterday. right now we live in a 20's built house with only a 2 car garage in a historic neighborhood. we're moving to a house with an attached 3 car garage and a detached 2 car garage. the detached garage was built at the same time as the house so the windows and architecture match...pretty cool. anyway, here are the particulars: the "porsche garage" as my son calls it, is 24' X 30' with 13' ceilings. a lift will be in shortly. currently, i keep the 356 in one of our warehouses here at work, so sometime within the next couple months the two long lost brothers will finally meet.

Im already in the planning stages for a minimum 4 car garage with side parking as well. I could be moving to North Carolina (Raleigh area) in the next year and Im looking at houses and seems like 3 car garages are not rare but not as common as I see here in Utah.

Isn't it great to be a guy?
We're so easy. "I have a larger garage, therefore I am happy". Life is good.
Congrats!
Disclaimer: I am very aware that there are some "cool chicks" that have the same desires... you are in a class all your own
Can you train my wife?

I know the feeling. A few years ago I was in a house with no garage at all and it bothered the hell out me. Then we moved to house with a nice carriage barn with space for 12+ cars (You can kind of see it in my avatar) and now, as you can imagine, I'm stupidly happy.

When we looked at our current house some years ago, I liked it from the first time I saw the multiple garages....I loved it when I looked in the garages and saw a Rotary Lift with a Porsche Cab sitting on it!
Best of luck with your new garages.....er, home!
