Default 1995 C2 Tilt steering wheel?

I have a 1995 C2 and the steering wheel does not tilt. It's the only thing about the car that I do not like, aside form the missing OEM stereo. Was tilt wheel an option on these cars in 1995? Is there a retrofit?

Thanks

One does not ask a 993 to accommodate itself to you. One accommodates oneself to the 993. IOW, nope. Steering wheel on all cars is fixed in place and gloriously off-center by at least an inch.

You can get spacers which will bring the steering wheel closer to the driver. Sadly, it won't help with the angle.

There are a few companies making them. This looks to be the best quality one.

Perhaps a gullwing may be more accommodating to your requirements

What about the reverse question? Keeping the factory wheel or a 3-spoke 996, is there a way to safely move it forward an inch or two?
