My 4 year old twins, Phoebe and Oliver.....taken today....first day at school in their new schooliforms......Charlie and Lola fans will know what i'm on about.
Took them to school in the 993 with the top down .....it's only half a mile away but it just had to be done.

Welcome Ed - as my dad puts it, any day you're looking down at the sod is a good day. I'm coming up on 6 yrs from a similar experience. Of course my idea of being cured is being able to drive again.
Waiting for my wife to pull a particular family pic out of her camera to post.

Chris W., my kid makes me pick her up from school every Friday in the 993. She is going to be sad when I take it back to the track. She told me she liked it because of all the attention the car gets from the boys. I'm in major trouble and she's only six. I do have one requirement for her, she has to wear an AC/DC shirt.
BTW, here is a photo from her latest photo shoot.

Chis, AC/DC is a must in that car. Luckily, she loves them. I swear she knew the words to TNT by the time she 2 years old. She even has a hand in the air doing the "horned hand".
Sounds like your twins are going through the same thing as mine, isn't it great. I'm having more fun that I thought I would. Now if she would only be interested in racing.......

Thanks Adrienne. As much as she loves my car, she wants a VW Bug, a green convertible to be precise. She started talking to me the other day about how I learned to drive/race and would I teach her. Right away my eyes lit up and I started talking about getting her a go kart and taking her out to the track. We talked for about thirty minutes and then my wife came in and ruined it all. She asked her why she wanted to learn to drive and her response was "well I'm a girl and racing is for boys, I just want to learn to drive so that I can drive to the mall and go shopping." Needless to say, I was a little heartbroken.

Well, there is a glimmer of hope. Maybe you should bring her to the track and introduce her to all the women drivers. Maybe then she'll see it's not just for boys. I had a green beetle before my 993. I can relate.
