I just got this one! Right now I have 3 Porsches... '87 944 that my son and I rebuilt for him to drive, a '91 964 C4 that was my gateway drug (and will be for sale soon) and I just landed this '95 C2 Polar Silver... the one I always wanted :-) For a short time I the douche with 3 P cars. I kind of love it.
I picked up my 993 from the dealership on July 10, 1996. I know this because we had just had my daughter the week before. Here is the car when it arrived home and a younger me .... Day it my 993 came home from the dealer. My wife says she got a baby and I got my life-long love. Both were excellent choices I think... Still looking good 21 years and 35K miles later. Only change from the day I picked it up is the recent wrap-around fronts and TT light/vent.
Not the best quality picture but a favorite because we are both cracking up. Taken during a DE weekend that I was actually driving. The following year I wrecked the same car and realized that I enjoy organizing much, much more than I like driving on the track.
