I have my borad finished but I'm not sure about the polarity on the LED's (and to think I used to be an electronics draftsman.. had to read those things all day long.. how quickly I've forgotten).
Long-leg on the LED goes to... ???
Aside from that.. I'm also sumpted on what to do for the connections. I have both a 964 and 993 here and I'd like to be able to use it on both, so I need some sort of system to use different car connectors. Speaking of car connectors where did you guys source the ODB-I plug used in the early 993's? I can handel the rosetta-stone 964 plug with wires but I want a proper ODB-I plug too.
THX!!

UPDATE! I cleared my airbag light! Whoohooo! I mentioned earlier in this thread that I had one SRS/Airbag fault that would come back immediately after I cleared it. Well, it turns out my driver's airbag was not plugged in.
The funny thing is that I started to write a post asking if anyone knew what my stubborn fault meant. As I was typing, it struck me that the airbag might not be correctly plugged in because I had taken the airbag off several times while trying to fix my horn problem. So, I went out to the car, took off the airbag, and lo-and-behold, it was unplugged. It was then that I remembered that I was taking the airbag on and off several times, trying to get just the right tension on the horn ring, and I finally got it right - and left it that way, without opening it back up one last time to reconnect the airbag. Of course I didn't notice anything different because I had always had the airbag light.
Now, no more airbag light! I couldn't be happier! The only fault I have now is something in the climate control system, which I'm more than sure is my fresh air flap motor, which I know to be bad.
Thanks again to all who make this interface and software available!

I'm so confused - is someone assembling these boards? I hve indictaed I'd like to order one but haven't been contacted so I have no idea what's goign on. Also, cost? Shipping? I have two left thmubs (but great with financial planning questions) so I don't want to try and assemble one. TIA for any updates.

If he is still selling them, they are quite easy to source parts and assemble. It was fun actually, I'm still kitting out my little OBD interface with custom cables and stuff.
