Thats such sad news. Ray was one of my Rennlist mentors when I first joined Rennlist and I will miss his postings and advice very much. My condolences to his family. Rest in peace dear Rennlist friend.

Sad news, indeed. Ray was a class-act and a breath of fresh air for his brutal honesty, integrity, and the unconditional desire to help others in need.

I, for one, will truly miss his: "buy the manuals, numb-nuts!", diatribe,.......

Ray was a character, in the finest sense of the term. I will miss him. I am going to search for something, in his honor.

Wow, I thought this was a joke. My condolences to his family. Although crotchety, Ray had an endearing quality that I'll miss. Rennlist will definitely not be the same without him.

I loathe this kind of change.

Wow. My condolences to his family.

It's weird; I (like most of us, I imagine) never met him in person, and yet he was one of the strongest and most memorable personalities I've ever "met." He will be missed.

I was hauled up by the scruff the day I joined... for not doing a search.

Godspeed Ray.

That is bad news....Ray could always put a smile on my face (or is that in my face?). It goes to show that life is short and enjoy every minute!

This is truly sad news. Whenever I saw Ray's name on a post, I was sure to read it. My best to his family.
I feel like I've lost a good friend yet I never met the man.

As eveyone had said here, Ray is a great asset and will be sorely missed. I once posted about life's insignificance. If I passed away, will anyone notice, will anyone care. This thread tells me that we have many here who notice and care.

Hope Ray's family finds solace in the fact that he is admired by so many, even when most of us have not even met him in person. This speaks volume to Ray as a person, and Rennlist as a community.

Folks, have a wonderful and safe weekend.
