Where are you located (place yourself on the MAP)?
Care to share where you live (general zip code info; not address)?
Another forum that I still occassionally frequent as a member opened a map using Frapper!. Members could put their name, screenname, zip code, and any picture on the map. It allowed everyone to get a feel for where people are located, who is nearby, who is where you are going, etc.
In our case, we could use it to help those looking for a car. For instance, Arnold in CA needed someone to look at a car in Michigan. He happened to stumble upon one of my posts and saw I was in the area. Ironically, I was only about 5 miles from the car. However, with this map, new members could get an idea if any Rennlister lives nearby to check out a car.
Additionally, we can use it to organize group drives, BBQ's, etc.
Come on, jump in.
One note, Frappr! doesn't let you use anything other than numbers and letters in your name, so I inserted mine as Jeff aka InTheAir and also uploaded my avatar. It's pretty cool, check it out.

JUST BE SURE TO CLICK 'SHOW REST OF MARKERS' AT THE BOTTOM OF THE MAP TO SEE ALL MEMBERS.
