Bra-Does your Porsche every wear one?

I have a bra (not me personally but my car) but have never used it. It looks like a 36D but not quite sure.

I havethe idea to put it on for a road trip to Aspen next month but yet again, why? So the question is are people putting them on for any occassion? Are they easy to put on and take off? My experience with bra's is that it only takes 3 fingers and 2 seconds to remove but putting them on Im clueless.

Yes, I occasionally put one on (the car) for long road trips, but never for day to day driving.

For track days only!

When I first bought my car, I thought of getting the Speed Lingerie bra but decided on the Xpel clear bra. The clear bra is no fuss, no muss, and I don't have to worry about taking it off if it rains or taping the edges with blue painter's tape to prevent scratches. No regrets in the slightest.

Also, I have Elephantracing.com's track skins, a magnetic material that covers most of the hood, and have been very happy with its trackworthiness. The skins reside permanently on my car and have not been off in two years.

I would never consider a cheapie bra.

I have a strict rule--no bras allowed.

3M Clear Bra for me. I only approve of the see-thru variety :)

The bra will 'cause more damage than protection. As you drive with it, fine sand and dust get caught under it. and as the wind beat on the bra, the vibration makes it like a big sandpaper.

I would get the 3M clear bra.

JLO came with a bra, but for the summer she is going bra less  She currently wears the see through kind..Invisa Shield

I concur with Carrera Mike... and have some first hand experience. If you use the regular, vinyl bra, you should use painters tape under all of the edges, and on top of the edges to keep the bra from flapping and to keep debris out from underneath. I have since gone to clear-bra, and I find myself feeling much more worry free about chips. The peace of mind is worth the expense.

I bought a Mag Bra about 6 months ago and it does a very good job of protecting the trunk and the lower area just below the headlights but the urethane bumper is not protected. I spent a lot of time debating about getting the invisible 3M stuff but because my paint was not perfect I decided not go the 3M route unless I got the front end repainted but that would have been premature and costly. I decided not to go for the vinyl clip ones as I had one on another car before and it always seem to flop around damaging the paint and was such a pain to put on and off.

Every time I go out I put on the Mag Bra and when It comes back into the garage I do take it off. The paint on these cars seems so soft that nicks show up from the slightest flying particle especially on a dark colored car. Even though I am so careful about taking it on and off there are still mico abrasions on the clear coat caused by the Mag Bra because even though I keep the car clean something alway manages to slip under. :banghead: but it does beat chipped paint

i use a bra to help to keep my lights from sagging..

I use the magbra also and am happy with it.

I use mine after cleaning both the car and bra. It comes off if it starts raining or I have driven through some area with blowing dirt/rock dust/etc. Then it stays off until the next cleaning.

Have one of the porsche oem jobs ordered through suncoast. Fits tight without flapping.

I have Speed Lingerie. It does a great job and I am yet to find any scratches. I leave it on always and take off to wash/wax or if it gets wet. I see no flapping at speed at all. Fit is tight.
