I ended up with a bad match, sent it back and got the samples. I picked the best match from the samples and wasn't very happy with the color match. I decided to keep them anyway and figured i would eventually either buy the OE or black Lloyds.

I had samples sent to me from one of the places that do lloyds and none of the colors matched.
I did get them to send me a 'cashmere' and it was closer but not a true match.
I gave up.

Hey JackofHearts, I have black mats in my cashmere interior (red carrera script). Really happy with the way they look. I'll send you a pic later if I can find my camera...

It's ok but maybe cashmere mats would look better?

don't be so ****...the Lloyds cashmere is fine...
It's funny when these old threads come back. I had completely forgotten about this thread (despite having posted in it twice). A few months ago I absent-mindedly ordered a set of the Lloyds Ultimats, from Pelican, in Cashmere. I ordered the script (Porsche) in black instead of the original brown (much better). Mats arrived inside of a week.
No the color's not exactly right (who ever said more caramelly is right) and the carpet fabric is different too. But the mats look great in the car so who cares. They are much sturdier than the original. (I show them off by vacuuming rows in the nap like Rennlister Mike taught us.) I also really like that screw-down button they give you that holds the mats in place. Way better than the webbing snaps. Best $117 I spent that week. May even get a set for my wifeys SLAAB.

I'd like to order mats from Lloyds too to match my cashmere interior, but if they don't match...
Is the consensus that black is a better option?

Anyone else have an opinion on the right match for cashmere. Looks like the "light tan" Lloyds mats might fit the bill from the photos, especially if cashmere shows dark.

Definitely order samples from Pelican. Better to be safe. I got mine only a few days after I ordered them and found the exact match to my carpet. By the way, I have Cashmere carpet, but the car is a 3.2 so the color wouldn't be of much help to you.

I recently bought the black mats with the red script for a black interior, but with the top down in the sun I notice that the mats did not match the interior carpet well. The mats seemed to have a blueish/purple tint to them.
