Default Was full leather optional on C4S?

I was wondering if this was standard on the "S" series cars. I've seen conflicting information.

thanks-

My "S" does not have full leather, but it was optional, as was "supple leather".

Partial leather was standard - which I believe is just the insert of the seat, not the side bolsters. But then again, what do I know. However, I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night

I had a ride in '97 in a for sale by owner C4S that had full leather - about a $5K-6K option.

Boxster red is a beautiful color interior.

Partial leather that is standard is leather on seats and bolsters (front and bottom top surfaces).... everything else is leatherette/vinyl including back seats.

Mark -

Yours is one of the first cars I've seen that, like mine, has the 12-way adjustable seats and heated seats (if my eyes are working correctly).

Jeff,
Yes, they are 12 way but no heat. The lumbar support is great!

Mark,
Wow, I like that color combo.
It's hard to tell in the photo but are the red gauge pointers a close color match to the red leather?

Are you sure about that?? "Full leather" means leather dash, leather center console, and leather shift tunnel. I'm almost certain that's not standard on a C4S or any other 911 ever in history.

Yuji - the photo shows the int color a bit more orange than it really is. Looks more clay in person. The needles are brighter than the leather. The Arctic silver/Boxster red combo works really well.

No way full leather was standard on the C4S. My C4S is partial leather only as well..
