It's very easy to resize on that.

My shot isn't that good, just a quick grab. I do love the setting. (And the sign)
The air is too hazy here right now to get the beautiful colors. Lot of spud dust in the air blown over from Idaho.
Finally, didn't you see the smiley?

Yes, Mike, I saw your smiley.

Do it. Just as much fun as what you can do with photoshop to other people's work.
After a career of being paid to judge, among other things, what is and isn't a good photograph, I'm having fun shooting a bit and learning.
I want to take a class this guy ( http://www.edwardriddell.com/ ) is offering out here in Sept, but there's a family baby due right when the class is.
Need to buy a better camera too.
And just to keep this on thread topic: The way into town
(See, Jomama, you'd love it here)

I do work on all my own images, other than pictures of my car while I happen to be driving it.
And, as I mentioned I created Sally meets Ally for my own personal amusement.
Everything on my website or that you will see me display is mine.
Just a disclaimer as so to foil any wrong impression you may have left with anyone reading this.
A prerequiste image. Just kinda popped out of the camera like that, musta got lucky, or maybe it was my studies at the Art Institue of Chicago from a scholorship I recieved. Nah, just probably dumb luck.

Sorry Alan, I remember you doing a lot of photoshopping of other Rennlisters' images a year or two ago. I thought that's what you did, and what photowerks meant. Hence my encouragement to you. My mistake.
Nor did I realize you had studied photography.
I do like non-enhanced stuff best. Check out Ed Riddell's landscapes. Amazing the drama he can capture in the camera.
One other random thought (in the random pic thread), even though the subject is the car, those more arid and even stark backdrops, like in your pic above and Carlos' sunsets, really add to the shot.

Alan, sure.
I could tell that you had really learned how to manipulate and make the most of Photoshop, but hadn't seen anything that indicated you had actually studied photography.
When you said this, it re-inforced it.
I shouldn't have taken your words at face value.
When were you at the Art Institute?
The winery shot is nice, though I like "narrow road" better. Speaking of landscapes, did you check out Ed Riddell's site? Even the site itself is gorgeous.
Dan
Terrific. Where is that, and what range is that? I'd guess the Alps. Did you pick up your car over there? If so, what a way to break it in.

Plenty of good sites for photography in that part of the world!
Thanks!

You may see some of my werk in the next issue of Velocity Magazine.
Dan great shot, however your image is the perfect reason to use photoshop. Great composition, just needs a few adjustments to make it more dynamic. BTW, I love your color.
This was shot though the windshield at about 80mphm with one hand. Just love the California open landscape.
