1996 C2, getting ready to do an oil change this w/end. With all the other oil change threads around I thought I ought to double check the part numbers and they are different than p-car.com shows. Were some part #s changed?

993-207-201-02 large oil filter
993-107-203-03 oil filter
900-123-118-30 alum seal (2)
999-707-465-40 o-ring

I just changed mine two nights ago with parts from Sunset ... same numbers except for the o-ring. Everything went without a hitch.

Sometimes part numbers are superceded. Often the core number, e.g. 993-207-201 is the same with the extension indicating the update. If you properly indicated your year/model number on the Sunset order form, there shouldn't be any problem. If there is, Jeff @ Sunset will make it right.
