Hi. Im looking to replace the sort of ratty top on my 993. Can any of you guys or ladies recommend a reputable installer in LA, who is decent in terms of pricing? Preferrably So Bay. Gratzi.

Not LA, but Orange County. I refer my customers to Costa Mesa Upholstery,
949 645-6888 Talk to Auggie. Reasonable price, great quality, very good turnaround time.

Fred used Lovon at (818) 999-9914 in Reseda. He charged $1000 and did a great job. He works out of his garage.

Levon just did my top about 5 or 6 weeks ago . . . could not be happier. He is very knowledgeable, has done LOTS of these, and is a nice guy too. He is in the Reseda area.

Thank you for the recommendations. I would normally be hesitant to use someone who works out of his garage but if members of this forum say he's good then I will give him a call. I work up in Reseda so it will be easy to meet with him.

Laura, thanks for the tip about Costa Mesa. Its in the other direction but I will keep them in mind.

Anyone else use another source for cab tops in LA city or South Bay?

He did my 911 Cab last year, on time and on budget. His garage is not a normal attached garage, but rather a detached garage for the business. Jim

Yep . . . its a detached, 4 car garage in the back of his house . . . with 2 big doors and pretty high ceilings. I'd take it.
