I remember reading an automobile test on the gt1 a while back. If I remember correctly they're electronically limited to 193mph.

Bob,
You have better car shows than we have here in Tacoma. :roflmao: |
Great Pictures Bob!
The Festival of Speed was awesome! I have never seen such a collection of high performance sports cars: Lambo's, Ferrari, Pantera, Rolls-Royce, Mustang, Corvette, Noble, Porsche, Aston Martin, Viper, etc, I was a kid in a candy store. Then, while I was talking to this Porsche enthusiast about a 993, he said his name was Bob and he mentioned Rennlist. Then I realized THIS WAS VIPER BOB! I was star struck. I shook his hand till it almost fell off. I had my wife get a picture of us. Life is pretty good. Bob, It was great to meet you. Kevin |
I think they have been trying to sell it on ebay as well...

Hey Bob -
Are the 2 GT1's that you posted the 993 cars or 996?? The front lights look like 996? Sorry if this is a dumb question . . . but I've never had the pleasure of seeing any of those yet . . . ands just generally don't know much about them. Scott :burnout: |
Scott,
The car that Bob posted is a 996 GT-1 and was made after the slightly less swoopy 993 GT-1. |
Both 996 headlight models as Mark said, but darn cool....
|
The silver car in the foreground of the third photo is a Mercedes CLK GTR road car.
|
And right next to that Mark was a Maserati GT1 car (and another one was right behind it) and next to that was a McLaren F1. Oh, and that CLK GTR was serial number 001 and the Maserati was serial number 001. All those cars in that one corral are owned by the same guy.... That is also an FXX on the other side of the CLK GTR next to his standard Enzo.
|
Yeah? Well, at Baltimore's auto show a few weeks ago, we got a Saturn Sky on a rotating table!
Anymore pics, Bob? |
Thanks for the info Mark and Bob.
